The Peninsulas EMS Council Pediatric Care Committee was awarded the prestigious Governor's EMS Award for Outstanding Contribution to EMS for Children at the 42nd Annual Virginia EMS Symposium. VCU PEM faculty Dr. Sam Bartle chairs the committee and Drs. Ashley Haggerty and Amir Louka are both active members. This award recognizes teams from CHoR, CHKD, and PEMS for their crucial work in reviewing and revising pediatric care protocols used by 50+ EMS agencies across the peninsulas region. Congratulations!
