Why VCU EM? I would say the exceptional training that so many senior residents have emphasized. I remember during the second look, a now-attending doctor told me how confident she felt as a 3rd-year resident compared to when she was a baby intern, all due to her training here at VCU. Also, I would say as an NC native, family is so important to me and what a delight to be so close to home!
Favorite thing to do in RVA? I have to be honest and say I haven't really explored Richmond like that, but I love the outdoors. I love parks and trails. Hoping to do more of that as I get more settled in!
Best-kept RVA secret? Again, going back to the parks fanatic, I would say I absolutely love Maymont. That park has so much to see!
