Why VCU EM: Every interaction I had was positive from the leadership to current residents and I felt confident the acuity here would provide an excellent training environment! (Also the food/brewery scene is solid)
Favorite thing to do in RVA: Spending time on the James floating, fishing, or just hanging out on Belle Isle
Best kept RVA secret: While the VMFA might be best known for its Fridays after 5 happy hour, it also holds the largest collection of Imperial Fabergé Eggs outside of Russia
Fun fact: Many years ago I was a guest player on a soccer team from São Paulo, Brazil at the USA Cup. Unfortunately the only Portuguese I remember is "Aqui! Aqui!"
