Why VCU EM: One of the main reasons I chose VCU was because of the people. Everyone was super nice and welcoming during the interview process and that hasn't changed one bit since starting here. The acuity and variety of patients that are seen in the ED is also great because it prepares you for anything.
Favorite thing to do in RVA: I like to bike or kayak when the weather is nice. I have also been exploring the different food options throughout the city.
Best kept RVA secret: There's tons of little cafes and food options throughout the city, especially the Museum District/the Fan.
Fun fact: I held a koala when I went to Australia.
