Why VCU EM: I was initially drawn to VCU Emergency Medicine when researching EM/IM programs and was impressed by how it looked on paper: an urban academic center with a diverse patient population and faculty from a variety of backgrounds, with graduates that have practiced all over since finishing residency. But what really drew me to VCU after my interview was the people. I'm incredibly grateful to be surrounded by supportive faculty and fellow residents that are not only awesome to work with but are friends outside of the hospital too. Plus, RVA is a great place to live!
Favorite thing to do in RVA: Walks along the river/Belle Isle with my pup.
Best kept RVA secret: It wouldn't be a secret if I told you...
Fun fact: I can make a pretty convincing goat noise.
