Why VCU EM: VCU was my home in medicine early on and I was drawn to the level of compassionate care provided to patients as human beings by individuals who deliver holistic medicine regardless of specialty or department. I love the variety of comprehensive higher level care aspects that VCU has to offer including burn, stroke, trauma, cardiac, cancer center, children's, and more. VCU EM in particular is a family learning and growing from each other daily. Most of all, our patient population is unmatched and includes the best people to welcome in our doors as patients!

Favorite thing to do in RVA: RVA is such a unique city and secretly outdoorsy! I love hitting the trails on runs whether by the murals, across Belle Isle, along the river, and more! The opportunities to explore are endless from outdoor hidden gems to tasteful eats of all kinds (especially ice cream, 10/10 recommend trying them all)!

Best kept RVA secret: November Project is an international organization with chapters in cities all over the world! The encourage free and inclusive fitness, which I am a huge advocate for...and even better RVA has a chapter that meets every Wednesday morning at 6am! I love the supportive energy that helps jump start your day and fill your week with positive energy!

Fun fact: I have a collection of over 50 headbands (that I actually wear)! I get one to remember major memories and trips so each one is special with a different experience.
