Why VCU EM: The people. Both the people who make up the Richmond community at large and those who are part of the VCU community, especially the residents and faculty of VCUEM.
Favorite thing to do in RVA: Anything outdoors. On the James, on a trail, exploring one of the many farmers' markets or food festivals, or simply sitting at a brewery.
Best kept RVA secret: Any of the local food festivals. Richmond has many to offer and you should try one or all. Especially the Lebanese food festival.
Fun fact: After breaking down while out of state, I hitchhiked the 300 miles back home and met some amazing folks along the way.
